About this Product

On a gentle spring day, sitting in a beautiful garden, surrounded by grand rose bushes, your favorite people are enjoying a tea party and waiting for you, their guest of honor, to join them.

You loo back from the window and back in the mirror as you tie the last finishing detail on, a beautiful headdress, intricately made, entirely hand-stitched. Even the needle-tatted lace was handmade by an artisan tatted lacemaker, with the delicate rose discreetly stitched to the top, along with two beautiful leaves. The feminine rose headdress took many hours to make and the lace shows that dedication. You check over your coord one last time giving yourself a small knowing smile. You're about to wow those waiting for you.

IMPORTANT: When selecting the color, please keep in mind that the lace trim around the headdress is ALWAYS white. The color you are picking is the FLOWER color.

While the ribbon is polyester and the rest is cotton, you know you'll still carefully hand-wash it in cool water, when it's needed to ensure the lace stays looking elegant for as long as possible.

The second photo is me wearing the sample piece for an example of it in an EGL sweet/oldschool coordinate.

The third photo shows an example of the hand-stitching on the underside with the ribbon. I'm still in the process of perfecting sewing headdresses in general, but I can assure you it's sturdy. I left one side of the ribbon open for those who wish to sew in a clip, comb, etc. of their choice.

Meet the Maker

I've been wearing EGL fashion since 2014 and hand making lace since 2019.

I aim to be active members of both communities, being an active member of my 2 most local J-fashion comms as well as IOLI and CRLG.

How it’s Made

This headdress is entirely hand stitched and the lace is entirely handmade with tatted lace. I melted the ends of the ribbon to ensure they won't easily become unraveled. These headdresses legitimately take a very long time to make, which is why they are made to order. The sample photo has one shuttle tatted leaf(the one lowest below the rose), because I wanted to see if I liked how it looked. In this instance I preferred needle tatted and future headdresses will be made exclusively with that.

I designed the rose myself, taking inspiration from different types of lace(non-tatted) to ensure I created my own lace design.
