****Meckley Brooms does not hand make the dust pans. They are, however, handmade by our Amish broomcorn supplier's family in Lancaster Co, PA. We are only offering them as an accessory item in our shop, because it seems fitting for a broom maker to have dust pans available for broom clean up duties.
These beautifully hand crafted dust pans are made of wood and tin. These dust pans do work! With the very sharp front end of the dust pan, you can press the end flat with your surface to make an effortless and effective way to clean up all that dirt that seems to cover your floors. We also have had customers want them for decor, rather than dirty them up. They pair excellent with a handmade Meckley Broom of any kind. Our mantel looks so pretty with a Whisk (or a bunch of whisks) and this beautiful dust pan.
Dust pans are the only items in our shop that we do not make ourselves. Wish we could, but we don't have the tools or the workspace to take on a craft such as sheet metal fabrication.
Our Amish supplier is aware that we buy to resell as accessories to our handcrafted brooms. We respect the Amish community and will honor their privacy and modesty by not disclosing their name.

Disclaimer: Our brooms do not fly! A broom will only work as good as the user.
Return Policy: We do accept returns within 14 days of receipt your order. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Exception: Custom Designed Orders (commissioned) are non-returnable/non-refundable.
Processing Times: 1-5 days, plus shipping carrier delivery time.
Valuable Info: Corn Brooms are a natural fiber and should never be left in damp, humid or rainy environments. These fiber brooms are super absorbent and will draw in moisture, leaving it susceptible to mildew if not properly cared for. Always hang a broom! Your broom/product may be made with our dyed broomcorn. We use environmentally safe dyes by Rit (non-toxic & vegan). For the sake of the environment and our own health, we do not use any color locking products on our broomcorn. Therefore, a colored broom should be stored out of direct sunlight to prevent premature fading. It is possible for bleeding to occur if gotten wet, but we haven't experienced this however, it is worth disclaiming since no color locking chemical is used. We strive for a sustainable handmade environmentally friendly product. Care instructions are included with your purchase. Proper care will provide years of dutiful service.
