Hello and welcome to my corner of Go Imagine!
After my crisis counselor shifts, I always looked for ways to decompress after my shifts. I found fluid art painting through YouTube and it brought a sense of ease and calm so I could fall asleep. I started dabbling in this art last summer and it has been so fulfilling and joyful, such a release. Friends and family know how important mental health awareness is to me and I wanted to share that through my art. If I can bring joy and peace to anyone with this art that playfully flows across the canvas, that fills my soul.

How it’s Made
Echoes of Light was created using a ribbon pour technique. I layered multiple colors—blues, purples, yellows, greens, and hints of orange—into a single cup, then poured in sweeping ribbons across the canvas. Each pass allowed the colors to blend and interact organically, forming intricate marbled patterns with fluid motion. I tilted the canvas gently to guide the flow, letting the paint settle into wave-like forms. Once cured, I varnished the surface to enhance the vibrancy and protect the piece, preserving its luminous energy and layered depth.
