EMBROIDERED TOTE
This tote was made using a rescued vintage piece of needlework and new cotton fabric
This is a small to medium sized tote with vintage embroidery that features a little girl in a flower garden
The backside and straps are made from a heavy cotton fabric with two tones of yellow and blue stripes
It is lightly padded to hold shape
It has a light blue cotton lining with two slip pockets made from the same striped fabric as the back – One side pocket has a snap closure
11” across top
11” across bottom
Straps are 18” long
8” drop
Inside pockets are 6 3/4” x 6” deep and 10 1/2” x 6” deep
This is a fun tote for the summer!
Nice piece of embroidery with no pulled or missing threads!
As with most vintage linens, it does have a few small, light “spots” - 1 on her leg and 4 on the left side of her – Please check pictures

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!

I came across this fun piece of vintage needlework and just had to find her a new home. She is not perfect but her small flaws have stories to tell
