Meet the Maker
Welcome! I'm Anna, a Brazilian transplant putting down roots in Nashville, TN. My journey into jewelry-making began alongside my mother, the owner of a small jewelry shop during my upbringing. Crafting jewelry has been a hobby since my teenage years, and after my mother's passing in 2017, transforming this hobby into a small business became a way to feel her presence.
My creative process is inspired by Mother Nature, and I am dedicated to respecting the environment. To uphold this commitment, I use materials that align with one or more of these values: fair trade, ethical, sustainable, recycled, salvaged, repurposed, or sourced from small local businesses. All recycled, salvaged and repurposed materials are carefully selected, ensuring they are in impeccable condition, resembling new items.
The name 'Ela' means 'she' in Portuguese, my native language, and it’s my tribute to all the important women in my life, especially my mother, sister, and daughter. Ela's mission is to celebrate and uplift women through creativity and collaboration. How it’s Made
Golden Grass (Syngonanthus nitens) is a plant whose stem has a metallic sheen and natural golden hue that resembles gold. Indigenous to a specific region in Brazil, it's a sustainable and fair trade product. The delicate blades of grass are bound together, tightly wrapped with either thread or thin wire around a frame. Golden grass is lightweight, flexible, water-resistant and contains no chemicals to retain its shine, which lasts for at least 10 years. I source the golden grass framed components directly from the local artisans.

Return Policy: I accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of purchase. Please contact me before sending item back to me. The item must be shipped back in the original package and gift box. Please provide me with the Tracking Number of the package. Once I receive the item, I will make the refund, exchange or repair.
