This handmade mini wood bookmark is inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe poem, Annabel Lee. This mini bookmark features the haunting quote, "For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams." The quote is laser-cut onto walnut wood, while the imagery depicts a silver moon being held by a balloon string. There are two choices in tassel colors: silver, and dark grey.
Measuring 4" in height and 1" in width, this mini bookmark is the perfect compact size to keep your place in your favorite book, whether you're at home or on an adventure of your own. It's the perfect gift for any fan of gothic horror literature.
The bookmark is hand-painted with oil-based paint and sprayed with a clear coat sealant that adds an extra layer of protection, ensuring that it remains durable and long-lasting.

My day job is also art! With over 20 years of experience in 3D and digital art, I hope to bring my love of fantasy, mythology and folklore to life in useful ways for all my fellow lovers of timeless tales.
How it’s Made
After the original design is sketched and digitally drawn. I laser etch the designs into 3mm hardwood sheets and cut out the bookmarks from these sheets. After the designs are laser etched & cut, the wood is cleaned, the design is hand painted using oil-based paint and sealed with acrylic sealer to protect the painting and wood. After that, the tassel is added and the bookmark is ready for its new home!
