In Egyptian Mythology, the Goddess Nebthet (Greek "Nephthys") is a Goddess associated with protection and guidance of the dead. As Lady of Compassion, Nebthet comforts the loved ones of the recently deceased, and she can be called upon for help in processing grief as Lady of Mourning. Modern associations equate her more broadly with the concept of death, physical and otherwise; with spirits and the dead; with the transition between life and death; and with darkness and night. As sometimes-mother of the Jackal God Yinepu (var. Inepu, Anpu, Greek "Anubis"), she can be considered a Mother Goddess.

How it’s Made
These handmade devotional beads were made to honor the Egyptian Goddess Nebthet, featuring 8mm Amethyst and Rose Quartz gemstones, 10mm Black Agate accents, and a Silver and milky purple Phosphosiderite Feather Pendant. The pendant's feather shape relates to truth and purification, as the feather of Ma'at, and to the final judgement one must face after death, the Weighing of the Heart. These beads may be worn as a devotional necklace, be used to adorn a statue and decorate an altar or shrine, be presented as a votive offering, or serve as prayer beads in meditation.
