About this Product

In Egyptian Mythology, the Goddess Nut (pronounced "newt," Greek "Nuit") is the goddess of the night sky, stars, cosmos, and all heavenly bodies, and is depicted with dark blue skin covered with golden stars. She is the daughter of Shu, God of Air, and Tefnut, Goddess of Moisture, and is known to have a passionate, loving relationship with her husband, Geb, the Egyptian God of the Earth. Nut is also a protector of the dead, as souls of the dead are said to transform into stars to become one with her.
