End Grain boards are easy on knives and have a beautiful aesthetic for serving at parties. Black walnut and maple make a lovely checkerboard pattern.
This board is approximately 9x14", and sturdy at 1.25" thick. All boards can be treated with all natural food safe cutting board oil. Clark's lemon scented oil and wax are the perfect combination for long lasting care.
Boards treated will sometimes seep oil during acclimation to your home. A soft rag will absorb the oil during the adjustment period. Standard wood board care should be taken with this product. Sudden changes to temperature or moisture can cause damage.
Wipe clean with damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or wash in dishwasher. Boards should be stored vertically to avoid pockets of moisture being trapped underneath. Proper oil and wax treatment is required periodically over the life of the board.
