I sell furniture that lasts a lifetime. Thank you so much for checking out my shop.

About this Product

This end table is my is one of my favorite items I have built. The grain on the beautiful walnut pops like nothing I have seen before and the tapered legs add to the refined look. The end table is built with high quality joinery that will last for generations. When you buy furniture made only from solid wood, you are paying for the longevity and craftsmanship. This end table measures approximately 2 ft tall, 18 in deep and 18 in wide. The table top and tapered legs are made of walnut. The bottom shelf, which is attached with dado joints, is made of hickory. The aprons are made of red oak.

The table top is finished with Arm R Seal semi-gloss, which is widely regarded in the woodworking community as one of the best finishes money can buy because of its durability. The rest of the table is finished with Danish oil which enhances the grain and adds a layer of protection.

Each table is made to order so you will not receive the same one in the photos, but it will be the same design.

All of my products are made by me personally, in a 400 square ft shop I built myself on my own property. I meticulously build each item as if it were going to be displayed in my own house.

When you buy from a shop like mine, you aren't helping a CEO buy their fifth vacation home. You're supporting a very small business that exists just to help support my family, so thank you for even considering a purchase.

How it’s Made

Walnut is the most beautiful hardwood in America and is showcased here in the tabletop and legs. The aprons are made from quartersawn red oak, which has a gorgeous straight grain. The shelf is made from hickory which is incredibly dense and perfect for storing anything you frequently use.

A little about the building process: I started with rough cut boards that had to be planed (flattened) and edge-jointed (made to have a straight edge) before even cutting it to dimensions. After planing and jointing, I cut the pieces to dimensions and began the long process of sanding everything smooth. Next I routed the edges. I applied finish to the pieces and assembled everything, before putting in a final coat of finish. Last, I wet-sanded everything for an ultra-smooth surface.

If all of that seems like a lot, it is. I am very meticulous through the process and nothing leaves my shop that I wouldn't want displayed in my own living room, which is the difference between handmade items and mass-produced items.
