How it’s Made

3D printing builds objects layer by layer from digital designs. A printer interprets these layers and deposits material to create the final product. Each item is inspected for defects like, color bleed, lifted edges and make sure everything was printed correctly.

3D Filament used: PLA

*PLA is lightweight, very durable and will withstand a lot of wear and tear, but it's not dishwasher safe. Any colors other than white will fade if left outdoor long-term. 3D prints are heat sensitive and can warp or distort if kept in high heat such as in the car, outside or in direct sunlight for a long period of time.

Disclaimers:

All 3D printed products are NOT intended for young children as the articulated pieces (or small detachable parts) may break off and become a potential choking hazard.

Returns accepted within 3 days of tracked delivery for workmanship issues.

*The presence of layer lines and minor imperfections are inherent to 3D printing technology and do not constitute workmanship problems.

Exchanges accepted within 14 days of tracked delivery.

Cancellations for orders are accepted within 24 hours of purchase.

**Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition.

3D Printed items can have minor blemishes, rolls, lines, and in the case of multiple parts, lines where the parts are glued together. We will not ship any defective product and will inspect the product to make sure it's the best it can be. If you are not happy with the product, please let us know right away.

When reviewing our store or product please consider it is a 3D Print and it will not be in perfect condition as described above.

3D MATERIALS WE USE:

Each item will list what material it is made from.

PLA:

  • Also known as Polylactic Acid, is a recyclable, non-toxic, natural thermoplastic polyester that is derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane.

  • Impact Resistance - It is lightweight, very durable and will withstand a lot of wear and tear.

  • Heat Resistance - It is heat sensitive and can warp or distort if kept in high heat such as in the car, outside or in direct sunlight for a long period of time. It is not dishwasher safe.

  • UV resistant - Colors other than white can fade or dis-color if left exposed to UV light.

PETG:

  • Also known as polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified, is a thermoplastic polymer that combines the strength and durability of ABS filament with the ease of use and safety of PLA filament.

  • Impact Resistance - PETG is a tough, durable plastic that can withstand drops and impacts without shattering. It has good impact strength.

  • Food-safe - PETG is considered food-safe and can be used to make containers and products that come in contact with food. It does not contain BPA.

  • Heat Resistance - PETG can withstand temperatures up to 70-80°C before softening. It has a higher heat deflection temperature than many other 3D printing filaments.

  • UV resistant - PETG has good UV light resistance and does not degrade or discolor easily in sunlight. It is more UV stable than ABS.

  • Recyclable - PETG can be recycled and re-used in 3D printing or other applications. It is considered an environmentally friendly option.

ABS:

  • ABS plastic is a terpolymer synthesized from three monomers of Acrylonitrile (A), Butadiene (B) and Styrene (S).

  • Impact Resistance - ABS plastic is renowned for its superior impact toughness and exhibits high strength and rigidity. This allows the production of parts with excellent shape stability that resist deformation and warpage.

  • Heat Resistance - ABS plastic has good heat resistance, is more heat-resistant than other thermoplastics in its weight class and can withstand multiple cycles of heating/cooling, making it a fully recyclable plastic.

  • Chemical Resistance - ABS plastic has broad chemical compatibility and resistance to a wide range of common inorganic and organic chemicals. It is not affected by water, inorganic salts, alkalis and various acids, and can withstand a certain range of chemicals, maintaining its stability and performance.

  • Electrical insulation - ABS plastic is a good electrical insulating material that can effectively prevent the flow of electric current.

  • Recyclable - As a thermoplastic, ABS can be repeatedly melted and remolded without degradation. Its material can be recycled through remelting and reforming processes to produce recycled ABS resin with properties comparable to the virgin material. The recyclability of ABS helps minimize waste and environmental impact, and provides cost savings through the use of recycled materials.
