Shiva eye shells are found in the ocean beds of Australia, Indonesia and Thailand. These Eye of Shiva shell earring are a beautiful and unique design. Below the shells are 3 drops of Red Creek Jasper, which compliment the swirl in the shell as well as the colorful back . The earrings are 2 inches long.
I lovingly handcraft all of these pieces one at a time in my Colorado studio. Gemstones are natures creation, and no stones are exactly alike, but all are hand selected for the best match.
Metaphysical Properties
There are numerous meaning associated with the Shiva Eye. In general eyes are considered protective. Since this shell comes from the sea, it offers serene vibes and brings peace of mind and relaxation. The spiral has great significance, representing the golden ratio. Folklore tells of Shiva Eye Shells as mermaids money and bringing good luck to fisherman and travelers.
The spiral pattern of the Shiva eye represents eternity and the interconnectedness to all things.
Red Creek Jasper is a stone of protection and grounding The metaphysical properties include tranquility, relaxation and happiness. This stone is also believed to promote self discipline, compassion and tranquility.
About the materials
The ear wires are silver plated. The wire used in the wrapping is anti-tarnish silver wire.
I use natural gemstones in my jewelry. These stones have not been treated, dyed, heated, or altered in any way.
Due to the nature of handmade items and natural gemstones your earrings may vary slightly from the photo.

Welcome to Bluemtngemstones. I am grateful to be here and share my unique creations with you. My studio is a smoke, pet and chemical free environment, in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I love to work with gemstones and beads of all types. I create unique, limited edition jewelry pieces. I find beading to be a very thoughtful, relaxing and meditative process. My processing time is 1-3 days after your order is placed.
Custom orders vary depending on the project and are discussed and agreed upon before any project begins.
Shipping
Orders are shipped within 1-5 days after your order is placed. To keep shipping costs low I use USPS.
