About this Product
This Fabric Purse is made from a dramatic black fabric with colorful wine bottles and glasses and has a concealed carry pocket. It comes with two coordinated fabric masks and a holster. The purse is highlighted with a bright red contrasting fabric.
The purse features a deep inside zippered pocket, a card holder, and an outside pocket. There is a hidden large compartment accessible from both the left and right sides with zippers. This compartment can be used to securely hold a weapon, passport, medicine or other valuable or personal items.
This versatile purse is made from cotton fabric and is fully washable. The soft, padded, strap is covered in fabric and is adjustable. Overall purse size is about 9 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 11 inches high.
The large main compartment is large enough to hold a couple of cans of soda. It is lined with a light pink fabric to make it easier to see inside and has bright red pockets to keep your belongings organized. The compartment is secured with a zipper.
The card holder is red and edged with the wine fabric and holds 8 cards. It is secured with zippers and a magnet. The card holder can be closed with only one hand as the magnet will hold the card holder securely while the zippers are being closed.
The outside pocket is about 6 inches wide and 7 inches deep and large enough to hold a tablet like a Fire Tablet and is secured with a magnet.
The concealed pocket is lined with white fabric to make it easy to see inside and can be accessed on either side with zippers. The holster is secured with hook and loop fasteners, with the soft side of the fastener in the purse and hook side on the holster.

Meet the Maker
Thank you for visiting my shop. I’m Jane Madsen and I live in beautiful Why, AZ, a very small town in southern Arizona in the Sonoran Desert. I’ve always loved drawing animals, and I discovered the art of creating machine embroidery designs during the pandemic. For me, it is the perfect intersection of art, sewing and computer skills. I tried to think of an idea for a new product line that would be fun, unique, and artistic, and decided to create a series of masks. Masquerade style masks can be used for many events and parties and can also be displayed as an artistic accent. The animals and cacti of the Sonoran Desert are my inspiration for masks that are unlike any other.
I work from home in my little patch of desert, surrounded by saguaros, barrel cactus and cholla cactus. I often see roadrunners, quails, red tailed hawks, turkey vultures, lizards, cottontail bunnies and jackrabbits, along with the occasional rattlesnake. The desert is beautiful to look at and is delicate and dangerous at the same time. My home is smoke-free and dog-friendly.
How it’s Made
This purse is made from the pattern “The Guardian” by Studio Kat designs. The primary fabric is cotton with heavier fabric used on the bottom and the top to reduce wear. The purse is reinforced with stabilizers between the primary fabric and the lining and double stitched in many areas to give the seams strength. The strap is made to be comfortable on the shoulder, with gathered fabric for padding and to allow the length to be adjusted.
Shop Policies
Most items are made to order and will take about one week to ship. If a rush is required, please send a message using Go Imagine.
Each item is made to order unless otherwise noted, and the return policy is limited. The request to return the purchase must be made by messaging the seller in Go Imagine within 15 days after delivery. The tag must still be attached to the product to ensure the product has not been used and the return must be made in the original shipping box. A shipping label will be sent when the return is approved by Why Stitches!. A refund will be credited to the same payment method used when the returned item is received by the seller.
Every shipment will have tracking and every attempt will be made to ensure the package was delivered as ordered. The carriers have liability for delivery, but the seller will help if possible if the order is lost.
