Shada Vega Art
Meet the Maker
My name is Shada, and I am a self-taught mixed-media spoonie artist residing just outside of St. Louis, MO. I combine the real and the fantastic using animals and plants. My vibrant and intricate mixed-media artworks, which incorporate graphite and ink drawings with watercolor, colored pencils, and markers, are what I'm most well-known for.
While my artworks have been published in art magazines and exhibited in prestigious galleries, my true passion lies in connecting, encouraging, supporting, and befriending other artists. I believe in the power of community and strive to foster it both online and in my local community. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your artistic journey.

How it’s Made
I designed this artwork to transform you into the world of fantasy and romance. I used a combination of watercolor, colored pencils, markers, micron pens and graphite to create details and texture. I am obsessed with details and I payed close attention to the details across this artwork including the bricks and the vines in the ivy covering the walls. I then took a high quality picture of the original and created these beautiful matte prints.
The original is still currently available and has been shown in a recent gallery exhibit. If you are interested in the original, please contact me.
