About this Product

This bag is hand crocheted in soft, and durable bamboo, tencel blend yarn.

This reusable bag is a stylish, waste-free alternative to plastic or paper shopping bags, and is a super cute summer accessory. Bamboo is a wonderful sustainable fiber and this is a perfect accessory for those who appreciate natural fibers.

The main color is a beautiful burnt orange color, with a dark neutral gray stripe and trim.

This bag can be used for more than just shopping. Take it with you to the beach or park to hold your summer reading, snacks, sunscreen and carry-along necessities. It is roomy and has enough stretch to hold a couple of beach towels!

  • When laying flat, the bag itself measures about 20 inches from top edge to bottom, and about 22 inches wide. Handles extend about 10 inches above top edge of bag. Top edge of bag is 7.5 inches.
  • Bag is all hand crocheted in a combination of bamboo and Tencel yarns. Tencel is made with natural materials that are spun into a fiber.
  • These fibers are fine to be machine washed and dried, but I prefer to hand wash and lay flat to dry to avoid tangling.

Meet the Maker

Hi! I'm Karin, the maker behind Little Marigold.

I hope you love my hand crocheted and sewn creations.

I work from my home next to a tiny woods in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I find inspiration in the natural world, and many of my creations reflect this in colors and textures.

Crocheting and sewing are what I really love doing, and I have been doing both most of my life. I  love the details that make each item special. It might be a marvelously soft yarn, an uncommon crochet stitch, or a lace border that makes something exceptional. It might even be an exquisite  color that makes an item unique. These are all things I love to incorporate into everything I make. I believe the whole process of thought, skill, and choice is what makes a creation extraordinary.

I also love thinking about the person who will use each item, and hoping it will soon be someone's favorite!

Enjoy!
