Meet the Maker
Hi! Thank you for being here. I've been making things as long as I can remember. Scrapbooks and bad poetry in the 90s. Live, Laugh, Love art in the early 2000s. And more bad poetry. It was a phase. You get it. I learned the teensiest bit of Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop in college and really got into after my first kid was born. I wanted to make all the decorations and art for the nursery and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for! Then I started creating wedding invitations for friends, bridal shower and baby shower games for family, and other art prints for my own home. It's been a journey.
I finally decided to go for it and open my own shop! It's a scary thing to have your art (or heart and soul, really) on the internet. It's taken a few months to get things up and going, but I'm so excited to be here in this space!
I was also inspired by my kids. I want to them to know it's okay to have something of their own, something that makes them feel fulfilled and inspired, something that makes them a better, happier person. And the best way for me to teach them that was to do it myself. It's been good for all of us so far!
I hope you love the things I make!
