About this Product
Are you plagued by wasps or hornets being in your doorways when you want to experience the outdoors? I have heard and read that wasps and bees are pretty territorial and they will not hang out where another nest is located. Can I guarantee that this will work for you? NO, I cannot. I've read that it's worked for many people though.
This can be made in neutral colors of brown, tan, or off-white. It's highly recommended to avoid yellow and red because these colors attract these flying critters. If you'd like a color that's not neutral, please send me a message and I'll gladly make it up. Colors may vary slightly from what you see on your computer as the colors don't always show properly online.
The nest pictured is filled with polyester fiberfill. I am offering to make these either with the fiberfill or with plastic bags. Both have seemed to be effective. It will be more difficult to wash the ones with plastic bags and they cannot be dried in a dryer. I will offer an empty option too in case you want to fill your own.
Finished size is approximately 8" tall (including the hanger) x approximately 5" wide. These will come smashed but with some molding, they will regain shape and look more like a nest. If you choose to fill your own, you can determine the shape that way.
These would be best hand washed and laid flat to dry. Those with fiberfill could be dried in a dryer on a low setting.
Faithfulgirl's Crochet Creations
Meet the Maker
Hello!! My name is Julie and I have been crocheting for over 40 years! Welcome to my GoImagine site where I love making items that bring joy to others lives! I am a wife, mother of 4, Nonnie of 6. I grew up in the north but have been a southern girl for over 20 years now. When I'm not crafting, I enjoy reading, watching hockey, and spending time with my family.
My love of crocheting was passed down to me from my grandmother and my mother. We spent many a day and night making stuffies, afghans, home decor items...anything that will bring a smile to someone's face! I am blessed to have been gifted the patterns that my grandmother and mother used, as well as many of their crochet hooks, that I use while creating the items you see here.
Why the name Faithfulgirl, you ask? I met my husband online and he was known as Faithfulman. When we married, I changed my chat name to Faithfulgirl. It carries a lot of meaning for me. I am a woman of faith and I'm not ashamed to say that. You can be assured that when you purchase from me, you will receive a quality product in a timely manner.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope that I can bring a smile to your face soon, if I haven't already!
