How it’s Made
Each of my pine needle baskets are hand coiled using either Ponderosa or Florida pine needles that have been baked in vegetable glycerin to hinder them from becoming brittle. I use either waxed linen or waxed polyester thread for coiling strength. The base on this basket is ceramic. 10.5 inches wide, 11 inches long, 2 inches deep.
