Weave a little joy into your life with this set of 12 monthly-themed garlands! Consciously crafted of polyester felt and secondhand yarn, this timeless decor will set the mood for whatever the new month has in store.
Perfect for seasonal decorating, these garlands take up very little space when not in use. Simply re-wind onto the cardboard backing and store with your other seasonal decorations; they will be good as new next year and are reusable for years to come.
All garlands are adjustable to suit your style and physical space - you can easily slide each flag into place as desired. Flags that are spaced closer together will span less of the included yarn, while flags that are placed farther apart will take up more of the length.

Meet the Maker
At SecondMade, I believe that what you choose to participate in matters.
For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to the act of making something out of nothing - or more accurately - a pile of raw materials. For most of my life, I assumed that purchasing brand new supplies was the only option available and I happily crafted away, unaware of the environmental pitfalls of craft-based consumption.
With time I realized that there was a better way: utilizing secondhand and repurposed materials to achieve the same ends - making cute stuff! Since this shift, I have become increasingly aware of the vast amount of unwanted materials suitable for crafting already in circulation. Purchasing brand new supplies is no longer the only conceivable option available to me - in fact, it's usually my last resort.
For years past and into the future, I choose to find worth in materials that have been discarded by others, to weave the value back in to what would otherwise be destined as waste.
Here at SecondMade, I offer hand-woven and hand-crafted items designed to inspire a little spark of joy whenever you see them - consciously crafted from secondhand and repurposed materials, of course! How it’s Made
These garlands are the only item in my shop in which the main component is not sourced secondhand (gasp!). While I do sometimes find secondhand felt sources in large enough quantities, it’s rare. However, the yarn is definitely secondhand, and I frequently use the triangular offcut pieces of the flags in other decorative items in my own home (smaller garlands, weaving projects, mosaic art pieces - not currently for sale). All items in my shop are handmade by me in my pet- and smoke-free studio.
