Welcome to my crafting site. My name is Antoinette, and here is some information about myself.
Originally from Queens, NY relocating to Knoxville, TN in 2017 this was our retirement plan and we couldn't be happier. In my early years my career was in Dental for over 20years. I always enjoyed working with my hands and being of a very creative mind. When my daughter was born I stopped working shortly after to be a stay at home mom. That is a decision I would never change. In 2022 I started Toni's Crafting Carrel and sold some of my work such excitement knowing my pieces are loved and appreciated. Now with my daughter off to college; I was yearning to get back into the workforce, but to do what! I felt like a teenager all over again. One thing I knew dental was no longer an option. I wanted to pursue something that would make my heart smile. I was always seeing what type of work was available, and there is was, I always wanted to work with real flowers and my chance came. Soon I would find myself in the floral business. Since being back in the workforce It was a great feeling seeing such happy faces, making the impossible possible and ohhh the compliments they never stopped flowing. Seems, I forgot one important thing of how the business world could be. I found myself stuck taking on more responsibility with little help and no appreciation from the higher ups. I was becoming burnt out, the only thing that kept me going was making my arrangements, and of all my customers. After a little over two years I hung my hat up as a Floral Manager/Designer. One thing I taught myself was never let a job define you. Always, be true yourself!! I felt my creativity was being taking from me. So now I made a pledge, I am going to focus on my little craft shop and bring happiness to all that appreciate my work. With new experiences and tools my crafting will be that much more enjoyable. All my pieces are different as I have a broad sense of style. Each piece takes on a life of its own. I look forward to all my new customers here on Goimagine.
