Hello and welcome to my corner of Go Imagine!
After my crisis counselor shifts, I always looked for ways to decompress after my shifts. I found fluid art painting through YouTube and it brought a sense of ease and calm so I could fall asleep. I started dabbling in this art last summer and it has been so fulfilling and joyful, such a release. Friends and family know how important mental health awareness is to me and I wanted to share that through my art. If I can bring joy and peace to anyone with this art that playfully flows across the canvas, that fills my soul.

How it’s Made
This painting was created through a fluid painting technique I used called flip cup that combines acrylic paints and a pouring medium, resulting in a mesmerizing blend of colors and organic patterns. I layered the paint, and allowed it to flow freely across the canvas, interacting and merging to form rich, glowing reds, oranges, golds and yellows. The addition of silicone oil helped me generate intricate cellular formations throughout the piece, creating depth and visual complexity. The natural movement of the paint across the canvas led to the dynamic interplay of colors and textures, producing a vibrant and radiant composition full of energy and warmth.
