IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Please know that the quality of the print depends on the print you send, as well as how much of the print I can put on the knife.
I do not engrave deep on the black dog tags because the deeper you engrave the less the engraving appears. To get the brightest white/silver marking on the black tags, it will be smooth.
I will try to engrave deep on the silver tags as long as the print is good enough. If the print has too much black in it a smooth dark marking will work better. The marking will not fade or wear off.
Please understand that most of the time the full print cannot be engraved, that is why I grab a portion of the print. If you want me to get a larger portion of the finger print or if you want me to use the full original image of the finger print, I will probably suggest we mark the knife instead of a deep engrave.
After you send me your print, I will fix it up and send you what I will be engraving. Once you approve it, I will engrave the dog tag. If I do not get a reply after 24 hours, I will use the print to engrave, as I don’t want your order to be late.
