Hand crafted Art Deco inspired petite dragonfly earrings, featuring limited stock milky glass fire opal stones.
Drop approx. 1/2" L x 1/2" W (1.27 cm L x 1.27 cm W)
Full length including ear wires approx. 7/8" L (2.2 cm L)

Individually handcrafted dragonfly settings were created for the lovely glass opal jewels. You will receive many compliments wearing these lovely earrings that look like they came straight out of a fairy tale!
Care Instructions: A polishing cloth will keep the metal from oxidizing over time. If needed, clean periodically with mild soap and water. Store in a dry place.

Materials used are the highest quality, including a variety of vintage and new Czechoslovakian, West German, Austrian glass jewels or brilliant Swarovski crystals. The filigrees are made in the USA or Europe and purchased from the original manufacturers, some of whom have worked with the likes of M Haskell back in the day. The filigrees are stamped from jewelers brass and have been used for more than a 100 years in the art of jewelry design. You may see many of them on antique jewelry because they are genuine antiques or reproductions made with the original dies still in service today. Vintage filigrees which are difficult to find are often used in my designs.
After selecting the best jewelers brass components available, each and every piece goes through an intricate process of several steps, all done by hand to burnish and polish each component to a beautiful vintage bronze patina.
The filigrees are then customized, hand sculpted and/or layered by me to create unique settings for vintage glass gems. Then comes one final quality control check with more polishing and the end result is a timeless heirloom quality jewelry design to be enjoyed for many years to come.

I'm a life-long artisan jewelry designer and come from a multi-generation family of jewelers including my mother who helps with design and bead embroidery jewelry for BelleArtis.
Our passion for making jewelry has led us to create pieces that will be significant and meaningful for you. Those are the pieces you wear on that very special life changing day, the ones that make you feel joy, the ones used to celebrate your life and your loved ones past or present. For me, making jewelry is a family tradition and something I’ve done as far back as I can remember. As a child, playing with my dolls meant I was making jewelry and clothing for them...Fast forward to the present (which seems like a million years since then) and I’m still making jewelry and enjoying it as much as I did back then!
Many of my designs feature dragonflies because the transparency and beauty of their wings is mystical and inspiring to me. Their fairy-like quality makes them auspicious messengers of light, creativity, beauty and love!
My mother’s European heritage on her father's side, born in Spain, has enriched her inspiration which comes from the opulence of kings, queens and royalty, the whimsy and fantasy of fairies as well as from earlier Romantic eras. Her designs specialize on unique hand crafted textile jewelry creations. These are made using vintage lace as a base for Swarovski crystals, flowers and flower petals, glass jewels, vintage components and fine bead embroidery done by hand meticulously using a needle and thread. Many of the laces, trims and textiles used are antique or vintage, from a collection dating as far back as the 20’s.
