I came from a long line of Seamstresses, and it turned out I was going to be the Sewist for the next generation. I only had bits of time to sew growing up and while I was young. The good news is I have made my second career all about it and gt to sew all the time. But what do I sew for this dream life??
I have always loved animals – Especially dogs. I took my skills and researched what active dog lovers could use and enjoy. I test products with my fur baby to make sure they are durable and beneficial for the pet parent.
I want to make a difference to the animals in this world and the people who love them. So now all of the profits from what I create go to help rescue dogs.

How it’s Made
When we saw the Bartolo pouch we knew we were going to make a few. They are addictive and so adorable.
The Maker Challenge was a real challenge for me. It took a long time to find the perfect materials. I made one with a Green diamond print for theinside and out for the body. Added the Orange square print for the head, tail, and fins. But I needed another submission. So off I go to the my favorite local fabric shop and found the Blue and White Diamond print - It matched perfectly with the Blue faux Vinyl I already had! Had to sew the fish up in time for the challenge and here we are.
The original pattern called for only one side to have a face. But who wants a one eyed fish?? So we make both sides look the same. The zipper pull tail fin was an extra plus in how cute this is and fun to make.
I so enjoy making these. I hope you will enjoy using them.
