About this Product
The Flapper Dove 3.5x5 inch folded greeting card is blank inside. The card was created (from original artwork) and printed in sunny Colorado. Single cards come in a plastic sleeve; two (or more) cards come in a protective kraft card box (without individual plastic sleeves).
Mourning Doves are my favorite birds. They are gentle birds that have a beautiful, somber coo. But make no mistake, this gal is not in mourning (she's way too jazzy to be in mourning)!
The Flapper Dove is also available as an art print.

Meet the Maker
My inspiration stems from the beauty found in nature, with an emphasis on birds and botanicals. I gravitate towards vibrant colors as I create stylized and whimsical paintings with a variety of mediums including acrylics, watercolors and gouache. I am proud to be part of the creative community at Artists on Santa Fe Gallery and Studios in Denver, Colorado. Click here to see more of my work.
How it’s Made
My first step in creating this card was to paint a mourning dove with watercolors. Next I digitally scanned the painting and added the accessories and background in Procreate (on my IPad).
