Welcome to Frans Handmade Blankets & Accessories, where we stitch love and creativity into every thread! I'm a sewing enthusiast (and maybe an embroidery addict) who is passionate about creating unique handmade products that bring comfort and joy to your little ones.
How did a retired healthcare executive end up in the world of sewing? Well, it all started with my mom, (Fran) who was an incredible sewist herself. She passed down her love for sewing to me so I decided to carry on her legacy by creating beautiful blankets and accessories.

How it’s Made
At Fran's Handmade Blankets, we pour our heart into every item we make. From the first idea to the final stitch, our dedication to quality and craftsmanship shines through. We start by hand-measuring each piece for precision and care, choosing only the best fabrics sourced right here in the USA to ensure top-notch quality and support local suppliers.
In my cozy sewing studio, I cut each piece of fabric to size, making sure everything is just right. The cotton fabric is pre-washed before sewing, so it's super soft and won't shrink on you. I take my time sewing each item, focusing on every seam and stitch to make sure it’s durable and long-lasting.
If you want something special, I use advanced embroidery software to digitize names or patterns, and then bring these designs to life with my embroidery machine. Each thread is picked to match the fabric perfectly, creating beautifully embroidered pieces that add a personal touch.
Every item is handcrafted with love, making each one unique and perfect. They're designed to be both practical and stylish, whether you're at home or out and about. Our products are made to be cherished and used for years to come.

Shop Policies
Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at franshandmadeblankets@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at franshandmadeblankets@gmail.com.
Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items Attention Valued Customers: We regret to inform you that once an item has been used or personalized, we are unable to accept returns. This policy is in place to ensure the safety, hygiene, and satisfaction of all our customers. Personalized items are crafted to individual specifications, rendering them unsuitable for resale. Additionally, for health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on used items. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our customer service team. Thank you for choosing our store. In addition, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
