How did a retired healthcare executive end up in the world of sewing? Well, it all started with my mom, (Fran) who was an incredible sewist herself. She passed down her love for sewing to me so I decided to carry on her legacy by creating beautiful blankets and accessories.

From the moment the idea is conceived to the final stitch, each blanket is a testament to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Every blanket begins with hand-measuring, ensuring precision and attention to detail. We carefully select the finest fabrics, all sourced right here in the USA, guaranteeing both superior quality and supporting local suppliers.
In my cozy sewing studio, each piece of fabric is thoughtfully cut to size, allowing me to create blankets of varying dimensions to suit every need. I then meticulously sew each blanket, paying close attention to every seam and stitch. In my home sewing studio, I employ cutting-edge embroidery software to meticulously digitize names or patterns, ensuring precision and detail in every stitch. I use my embroidery machine to bring these designs to life with impeccable accuracy and craftsmanship. Each thread is carefully selected to perfectly complement the fabric, resulting in beautifully embroidered creations that add a personalized touch to every blanket. With a passion for both technology and artistry, I take pride in delivering exceptional quality and attention to detail in every embroidered piece.

Shop Policies
Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at franshandmadeblankets@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at franshandmadeblankets@gmail.com.
Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items Attention Valued Customers: We regret to inform you that once an item has been used or personalized, we are unable to accept returns. This policy is in place to ensure the safety, hygiene, and satisfaction of all our customers. Personalized items are crafted to individual specifications, rendering them unsuitable for resale. Additionally, for health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on used items. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our customer service team. Thank you for choosing our store. In addition, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
