About this Product
This hand forged dish started as a sheet of steel. I cut the shape by hand, then add each each line with hammer and chisel. The symbol in the dish is the Ægishjálmr or helm of awe , an Islandic magical stave. It is said that it gives physical protection as well as spiritual and mental strength to conquer one’s own fear.This hand crafted dish works as a ring dish, candle dish, offering dish of a decoration in its own right. As I use a spray lacquer to preserve the shine I do not recommend it for food.
