About this Product
If you have a child that loves astronomy, this matted and framed canvas board would make a wonderful addition to their room. When I was young, looking up at the stars was a favorite pastime. It still is. It was fairly recently that I decided to paint a series of unique astronomy based canvas boards geared toward younger space fans. This particular one was inspired by recent astronomy news regarding the star Betelgeuse and when it might experience a supernova. This would be perfect for that young stargazer in your family. The wooden frame already has attached hooks, so no worrying about finding hardware for mounting onto the wall.
*Canvas board is 8 x 10, after matting and frame addition, dimensions are 12 x 15.
*Colors may vary slightly depending on user monitor or screen.
Crows Chase Creations
Meet the Maker
A warm greeting to everyone. My name is Lori Bowers. After several years in the academic world, I began a new adventure as a freelance photographer and artist. I have always adored creating unique, atmospheric, and moody images. However, when working on canvas, I do enjoy the addition of bold colors when creating abstract landscapes and florals. It was only within the last few years that I began working with mixed media paper art and junk journals. I have found my journaling vibe to be focused on grungy and distressed ephemera and kit supplies. Recently, I have started teaching junk journal classes at two nearby artists cooperatives in which I also display my photographs and canvas for in person sales. I currently live at Crows Chase, located on the lovely Cumberland Plateau, with my spouse and several fur babies. It is a small magical rural property with abundant wildlife, beautiful countryside, and of course, numerous crows. Inspiration is abundant here, which led me to set up a blog following my art journey and the formation of Crows Chase Creations. You can find the link via my web site www.crowschase.com. It is my belief that creating art, in whatever form, is therapy for our spirit. Blessings!
How it’s Made
I use professional artist acrylic paints and brushes to create each of my paintings. All of my stretched canvas are purchased from a local art store or repurposed from other projects. I am passionate about up-cycling when possible. My easel is usually set up beside our entry way into the screen room. On occasion, my feline assistants steal my brushes during a painting session or suggest a new color by knocking a paint tube onto the floor. Painting in my house is a fun endeavor!

FAQ:
Are Shipping Times Guaranteed?
No, the USPS doesn't guarantee delivery dates. I, as the seller, have no control over the date that a package will arrive after the USPS takes possession.
Can I Get A Return Shipping Label?
The customer is responsible for return postage costs.
How Much Will I Be Refunded?
You will be refunded the original item cost. To verify damage I need photos of the item and packaging so that I can potentially file a claim with the post office.
I Didn't Get My Package, Can I Get A Refund?
If you didn't get the package but the post office marked it as delivered, you need to contact the post office to see where the delivery was left. They have GPS on their scanners and are able to see exactly what address the package was delivered to. If they made a mistake, they will help you get the package back.
In cases where a package was delivered to your address but you can't find it, I am unable to refund. You should file a stolen mail report with the post office and your local police so that they can track cases and see if there are patterns of mail theft. Please contact me if this is your situation so that I know what's going on!
If the package wasn't delivered and the tracking doesn't show that it was received, please contact me and I'll arrange a solution.
Please take post office shipping time estimates into account. The USPS doesn't guarantee delivery dates, therefore, I have no control over the date a package arrives. Once a package is marked as delivered by the post office I have very little control over the information I can get from them. If you have a problem with a delivery always check with your local post office since they will have the most current information.
