Made with a heavy cotton fabric with dark navy / black French words on a cream background ~ It is lined in a navy blue cotton fabric (no visible seams) and has matching print tabs

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!

How it’s Made
I have been collecting fun cotton fabrics (and some that are not cotton) for 20 years. Every so often I will rummage through a tote and pull out what catches my eye that day. I love this decorator weight fabric and this box bag was the perfect project for it! And as luck would have it, I found a zipper and lining fabric that coordinated nicely.
