About this Product
This piece is made by fusing different pieces and colors of hand cut glass together to create a ocean wave. Glass is cut and placed to resemble the organic flow of the ocean and the movement of a wave. Every wave I make is unique - no two are identical just like a real wave. Place it on a window sill to have the light show through or place a candle behind it. This glass ocean wave will be a beautiful art statement for your home! The wave measures approximately (L) 11 inches x (H) 7 inches The base is 6"x 14.5" These curves look great on a window sill allowing the light to really shine through, or on a shelf with a candle or fairy lights behind giving it a subtle glow.

I have always worked in high stress jobs. I decided I need to find a outlet for my artistic side, I took a fused glass glass and immediately became hooked. I bought my first kiln within a month, cleared out an area we were using for storage and created an art studio. I love the colors and feel of glass. Glass can also be unpredictable! Opening the kiln to me is always like opening a present on Christmas morning. I still work my high stress job but when I go into my glass studio I can relax and play and create. I call it my zen place. Thanks for looking!
How it’s Made
This piece is assembled and then fused at a very high temperature in a kiln. It is then put back into the kiln and bent into a 'wave' shape using a mold. The wave shape is fused to a glass base.
