Fused Glass wind chime, in beautiful colors of blues and turquoise. The chime 8 inches wide and made with beautiful colors of blues and turquoise The 6" long glass chimes are adorned with glass beads and colored glass. Total length WITHOUT the hanging chain is approximately 12 inches with the chain 25 inches. This beautiful decor can be hung inside as a wall decor, in a window or outside. I am in Seattle and I have them hanging under a eave and leave them out all year, I would recommend bring them indoors in colder climates. It will make the beautiful sound of a soft tinkle. It will capture the light and add color to your home. Would be great as a one-of-a-kind housewarming gift, beach house decor, but don’t feel guilty if you want to keep it for yourself! Please note that all my items are Handmade so there may be slight color and / or design variations. The one you receive maybe slightly different. I have always worked in high stress jobs. I decided I need to find a outlet for my artistic side, I took a fused glass glass and immediately became hooked. I bought my first kiln within a month, cleared out an area we were using for storage and created an art studio. I love the colors and feel of glass. Glass can also be unpredictable! Opening the kiln to me is always like opening a present on Christmas morning. I still work my high stress job but when I go into my glass studio I can relax and play and create. I call it my zen place. Thanks for looking!
How it’s Made
The glass is fired in kiln for rounded edges and annealed for durability and strength. The chimes are stung on strong beading wire.
