Gorgeous genuine red Garnet beaded necklace with a star or snowflake shaped pendant. All silver is Sterling Silver. The pendant is accented with clear quartz stones and Czech accent glass beads.

This gemstone necklace sports a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and measures 18 1/2"'s long. Length and width of pendant is a little over 1 1/2 "'s.
Garnets have an excellent hardness of 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs's scale, as such, they are sturdy and resistant to the effects of daily wear and tear. Some believe they promote success in business, self-esteem, friendship and also protects the wearer while traveling.

Meet the Maker
Hello from Sherrye in sunny Florida! Thank you for popping in our jewelry boutique. I say “our” because my husband occasionally creates rings and provides inspiration. My jewelry creation journey began about 15 years or so ago. I started out learning to bead, wire wrap and then silver and metal smithing. My journey is never static as I continue to learn from many talented artists along the way.
Why do I love making jewelry? It is similar to the transformation that occurs from a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly and its stages along the way. So goes the same with jewelry, beginning with raw materials at the work bench and whether with an intended design or a serendipitous outcome, the piece transforms into a unique creation. I love thinking about the exciting places my jewelry travels to after it has been purchased.
My style is contemporary and uncomplicated with clean lines. I really like contrasting materials and textures, shiny and matte, smooth and textured, etc. Currently, my favorite precious metals are Argentium Silver and Fine Silver, with gold and gemstone accents.
I am excited to be a part of the Goimagine community and the great work they are doing with children’s needs.
How it’s Made
I strung genuine red garnet gemstones that are 4 mm size for the smaller ones and 6mm for the larger ones, onto soft flex beading wire, which is 21 thin stainless strands of nylon coating. There are clear glass Czech beads added as well for accent, along with oxidized Sterling Silver spacers. The gorgeous pendant is the centerpiece of this necklace, featuring Garnet, Quartz and Sterling Silver. I rescued this star shape (or snowflake shape) pendant from another necklace, removing all of the tarnish and securing it to its “new home”.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR JEWELRY: Avoid sprays, lotions or cleaning products near jewelry as they can cause tarnishing. Remove before bathing and swimming. Remove jewelry before going to bed and rigorous exercise. Keep jewelry stored separately from other pieces, in a cool, dark place using jewelry boxes and pouches. Sunshine polishing cloths work great to clean and brighten up gold and silver. Use a soft dry clean cloth to remove smudges on gemstones.
PROCESSING and SHIPPING TIME: All items are shipped first class with tracking, sent in a gift box within a bubble lined mailing envelope. At times, I am able to mail out on the first day of purchase, otherwise, it will be 1-2 days after the day of purchase.
RETURN POLICY: Returns and cancellations are accepted with the following conditions:
*Please contact me within 5 days of delivery of your purchase.
*Ship item back within 7 days after I respond back to you, via first class shipping with a tracking number. Buyers are responsible for return postage with secure return packaging, preferably within the same gift box in which it was shipped, to help prevent damage during the shipping process.
*If the item is not returned in its original condition, I will not be able to refund your full purchase price.
