These dangle earrings were handmade with sterling silver wire and garnet gemstone beads. Garnet is a beautiful deep reddish purple color, and it is the January birthstone. The silver teardrops were skillfully shaped by hand and hammered, creating a reflective textured finish. These earrings are lightweight and durable. You will receive these earrings in a gift box along with earring backs, a small polishing cloth, and an airtight bag for storage.

NOTE: Sterling silver tarnishes over time. Be sure to store in an airtight bag and polish with provided cloth as needed. Also for best care, keep away from lotions, oils, water, and steam.

Hi! My name is Christy, and I am a jewelry artist from Lexington, Kentucky. I fell in love with the art of jewelry making when I was ten years old after making a simple beaded bracelet. Since then, I have grown in my craft by learning new skills and collecting unique gemstones to incorporate into my pieces. Now, fifteen years later, it is my absolute joy to make one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces to share with you! Opening Sunglade Jewelry is a dream come true. As someone who has battled chronic illness on and off for years, jewelry making has been a constant ray of sunshine in dark times of my life - thus how my shop got its name. I hope my pieces will bring a glimmer of joy into your life every time you wear them!

How it’s Made
I hand make each piece from start to finish. After envisioning a unique design, I carefully shape my wire and hammer it into place. Often I will use the ball side of the hammer to add texture. Then I attach any gemstones I might have in the design. Finally, I polish the piece to a high shine and store it safely away until they are ready to ship to you!

Care Instructions
All of my pieces are made with solid copper or sterling silver wire. Be aware that these metals are malleable, so handle with care! I polish your piece before sending it to you. However, please know that these metals tarnish over time. Especially copper tarnishes fast. For best care, store your jewelry in an airtight bag and polish regularly with a polishing cloth. Both an airtight bag and a polishing cloth are included in your order! Also, keep jewelry away from water, steam, lotions, and oils to prevent damage.
