The gemstones used in this necklace set were purchased at the Gem & Mineral Show in Denver, Colorado and since I live near the area, I never miss my chance to access beautiful gemstones from around the world. The gemstones I used to create this beautiful necklace are Mother of Pearl, Onyx, and Rhodonite with the drop pendant made of those same 3 stones as well.
A statement piece necklace needs to have a statement clasp as well and that's just what you'll find with the clasp on this necklace. (see two photos below) The necklace measures 22 inches long, the pendant itself measures 1-1/2 inches long X 1 inch wide. The Rhodonite earrings measure 2 inches from tip to tip, featuring a little bit of wire wrapping near the top and are hung on sterling silver post earrings, with white gold-plated earring backs that are nickel & lead free. Hypoallergenic.
Full disclosure: If you love wearing gemstone jewelry keep in mind the sterling silver pieces on this necklace will require occasional polishing to keep them looking like new. I've included some tips on how to care for your sterling silver jewelry, a sturdy box containing anti-tarnish tabs to store your necklace in, away from the elements, as well as a few polishing cloths in your order.

How it’s Made
I didn't have a design in mind when I made my purchases at the Gem & Mineral show that day but once I got home and laid out all my gemstones and other beads, I knew right away what I wanted and could clearly envision this necklace using these 3 gemstones and attaching this unique pendant! I wanted to give the pendant a little bit more strength or sturdiness where I've attached it to the necklace itself, so I added some light wire-wrapping around the pin holding the pendant onto the necklace; hoping to add some durability. It is my sincere hope you love it as much as I loved the experience of creating it.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:
Most, if not all, of my pieces are made with glass beads that can be easily broken or chipped.
Please be mindful to avoid dropping your jewelry or knocking it against hard surfaces as I use glass beads in most all of my work and are breakable.
My jewelry sets are sold as sets. If you do not wear earrings, they can make beautiful & thoughtful gifts!
Silver metal components can tarnish over time, or when exposed for long periods of time to the elements. I provide complimentary anti-tarnish tabs and cleaning cloths in all orders to help keep your silver components looking like new. Please know none of my metal components are treated in any way to prevent common discoloration.
