My name is Lynette and I started this small business in 2008. Making things is my passion... it started when I was a teenager in the 1970s, crocheting bikinis in Santa Cruz, California. Now, it's straps for bags! Yes, straps excite me/us! Why? How? Imagine a customized strap that's made to fit your exact needs. Imagine a customized strap that's comfortable to wear and looks great. Imagine a customized strap that allows you to wear your bag exactly the way you want. That's exciting and that's why we take strap making so seriously. Because it matters!

How it’s Made
We live in leather at Mautto! Scraps and remnants flood our facility. Instead of throwing these small pieces away, we turn them into fun shapes, so others can enjoy leathercrafting like we do! Leather pieces are placed on a hard/flat surface and cut to various shapes using a metal die cut. The hearts or flowers are carefully packaged in a bubble mailer and prepared for shipment.
Shop Policies
Returns
We have a 30 day return policy. For returns after 30 days from the purchase date, a refund is not available. For returns of merchandise between 30 to 60 days from the purchase date, a store credit may be issued depending on the order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused/new. Please note that customized items are not returnable. If you would like to start a return, please contact us with your order number and reason for return, so we can provide instructions.
Cancellations
Cancellations are allowed within 24 hours of order placement. Cancellations are subject to a $3 cancellation fee per item. Cancellations are not allowed after your order has shipped.
