How it’s Made
Usually, I focus on beautiful images that people have never seen before. Going through the dustbins of our visual history, to bring lost treasures to light, if you will. This iconic image of Washington at Valley Forge is an exception. I saw that most of the ones that were being sold online did not do anything to this very old artwork, and over the years the fine painting had become darker with age. So, I did some digital adjustments to hopefully bring it back to the original splendor of Percy Moran's art.
I print it on my wide format Canon printer. For shipping, I send small images in a flat cardboard envelope, while larger works are hand-rolled and shipped in a tube.
