How it’s Made
Ghost Pipe decide where they want to grow, it can not be cultivated; we are lucky enough to have them in our yard started few summers ago. It choose an organic environment, pesticide and chemical free. We forage them ethically by leaving some of the flora mature and continue its reproduction for many years to come.
It can also be found in the less-disturbed woodland, however, it needs to dropped into 80 proof alcohol right after it's cut from the plant because it begin to lost it's property once left the plant. It then turns black like you see in the picture, the change of the color makes a beautiful purple tincture.
