Hello and welcome to my corner of Go Imagine!
After my crisis counselor shifts, I always looked for ways to decompress after my shifts. I found fluid art painting through YouTube and it brought a sense of ease and calm so I could fall asleep. I started dabbling in this art last summer and it has been so fulfilling and joyful, such a release. Friends and family know how important mental health awareness is to me and I wanted to share that through my art. If I can bring joy and peace to anyone with this art that playfully flows across the canvas, that fills my soul.

How it’s Made
Creating "Glinda's Whimsical Charm" was an enchanting journey in itself. I began by selecting a palette of soft pinks and iridescent whites and a hint of gold to embody Glinda's light and whimsical nature. For the ring pour technique, I carefully layered these colors in a cup, allowing them to mingle beautifully.
When it was time to pour, I held the cup above the canvas, letting the vibrant colors flow out in a circular motion, creating delicate rings that intertwine and dance across the surface. As the paint spread, I watched in awe as the colors blended and formed mesmerizing patterns, each one unique and full of life.
The process was both exhilarating and meditative, as I embraced the unexpected results and let my creativity guide me. After the pour, I allowed the painting to dry, revealing a stunning visual that captures Glinda's whimsical spirit. This piece is a true reflection of the joy and magic that art can bring!
