About this Product
Ares is the Greek god of war and courage. He is one of the Twelve Olympians, and the son of Zeus and Hera, and oftentimes seen wearing a helmet and carrying a spear. Though he's not spoken of much in mythology, except in ridicule, Ares delivers justice to those who deserve it, and lifts up others as warriors and conquerors. His symbols include the shield, helmet, sword, dragon, the color red and bloodstone.
Working with Ares means calling to yourself personal power. It's taking care of yourself before you help others; you can't work from an empty cup, after all, and he reminds you that being firm in what you believe is just as important as how you treat others. Shadow work is important to him, as is taking time to do things you enjoy doing. Standing up for yourself when needed is applauded by him, and when you need a little extra boost in that area, call on his strength.
This deity altar jar is filled with things that represent Ares, such as bloodstone, obsidian, carnelian and hibiscus, and has been extensively researched to be the best it can be.
Settling and shifting of ingredients during shipping is normal, and won't impact the meaning of the jar itself.
Variations in jar shape depend on vendor availability, but they'll always be 1.6 oz and 5 oz.
*The wax color on the top of the jar is a combination of red and silver, but if you'd like another color for him instead, let me know when you purchase!*
