Goddess Artemis Deity Altar Jar

Artemis is Goddess of nature, childbirth, wildlife, the Moon, the Hunt, sudden death, animals, virginity, young women, and archery. She's heavily identified with Selene, and Hecate, and is regarded as one of the most prominent lunar deities in mythology. The Goddess Diana is her Roman equivalent. She's the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and twin sister to Apollo, God of the Sun. Like Athena and Hestia, Artemis preferred to remain a maiden Goddess, and swore never to marry, therefore was one of three virgin Goddesses that the Goddess Aphrodite had no power over whatsoever. Her symbols include bow and arrows, quiver, hunting knives, deer and Cyprus. 

To honor Artemis means remembering the strength of femininity, and the mysteries of womanhood. It means going to the wild places, under a full Moon, and asking her for guidance in things such as motherhood, pregnancy, delivery, child raising and illness, but also for strength and confidence to live your life the way you want to. She's a fierce protector of individuality, so call on her when you need an arrow through the darkness. 

This 5 oz deity altar jar is filled with things that represent Artemis, such as Moonstone, Amaranth, Willow Bark, Labradorite and Amethyst, and has been extensively researched to be the best it can be.
