Meet the Maker
When I realized that I couldn't bake a cake, I decided to make a cake - one made out of paper!!!
How it’s Made
Each box starts with a sketch of an idea that is generated by the baker's imagination or a party invitation that has been shared by the buyer. From there the sketch comes to life with a base of three papier mâché boxes tiered in size. Each layer of the cake is painted and iced with the colors specified in the sketch. A cake topper of candles or a theme-specific element is glue to the cake, along with name or birthday wish, if requested. Next a sprinkle of sparkle or confetti is added to the cake before each layer is filled with colored tissue and crinkle paper.
Shop Policies
Cakes are individually handcrafted and feature unique designs. Depending on the intricacy of the design, production of a cake may require 1-3 weeks before shipping.
Because of the personalized craftsmanship involved, our products are not eligible for returns. However, customers are welcome to reach out to discuss any concerns regarding their order.
Crafted from paper, paint, and glue, our creations are susceptible to humidity. If the lid becomes sticky, gently wiggle and turn it to ease it on or off.
Proper storage ensures longevity for your cake, which can last for years. You can keep cakes in their original box or on a shelf, but avoid storing them in areas with extreme temperatures.
Our cakes are designed for use as gift boxes or party decor, not for serving food. Any food placed inside the boxes should be sealed or wrapped.
