"Momento Mori" is Latin for "Remember Death", which speaks of the transient nature of objects and one's mortality. I wanted to create a world which celebrates positivity, memories and beauty in all forms, where love exists beyond the confines of time. My original artwork was created with ink, graphite, some of my own photography, and a touch of digital coloring.
The print is available on a heavyweight card stock paper with a semi-gloss finish at 11" width by 8.5" height. The actual printed area is slightly smaller than the paper for easy framing. The colors of the print may vary slightly depending upon your monitor settings.
It ships with a cardboard backing and plastic sleeve (until you're ready to frame it). The second photo is an example of how the print could look when framed.

SHIPPING & PROCESSING TIMES:
Only Domestic US orders available. Shipping is Ground Advantage Mail by default, and comes with tracking number. Expedited shipping is available by selecting Priority during Checkout.
Orders are processed in 5-7 business days (M-F) before it is shipped out. Please allow for approximately 2 weeks from date of order to reception. Meet the Maker
Hello. I'm Sherrie, the creator of ShaireProductions.com. I'm a designer by trade (9-5), but fine arts is my first love and this store is a creative outlet for me. I'm a self-taught artist and enjoy creating in many different mediums: illustrations, curiosities, jewelry and decor, in fantasy and gothic styles. My inspirations include old civilizations, life sciences, culture, and mythology--always love learning and exploring new avenues. Hope you enjoy the products as much as I love creating them. Thanks!
How it’s Made
My original artwork was created with ink, graphite, some of my own photography, and a touch of digital coloring. This print is a high-quality production on heavyweight card stock paper with a semi-gloss finish at 11" width by 8.5" height. I print and pack each item individually.
Before packing each item, it is accompanied by cardboard to protect it on its journey to you. Each package comes with a few freebies, ex. stickers (I love sharing bits of fun in each package).
To reduce waste, some outer packages may be recycled (and branded). Thanks for viewing.
Shop Policies
Shipping Multiple Item Orders & Processing Times
As I also work a regular 9-5 in addition to this shop, the processing times are approximately 5-7 days. If you purchase multiple items, they will be combined into a single package.
Issues with Order & Shipping Fees
If there is an issue with items in an order, please contact the Seller directly to resolve the issue. After the package is shipped out, USPS is responsible for the package delivery. If there are issues, please follow the provided tracking number for information and reach out to USPS directly. Buyer is responsible for postage fees and for providing the correct address. If the USPS returns the package to the Sender due to this, the Shop will notify the Buyer. The order (including shipping fees) would be canceled and order will be refunded within 3 business days.
Recycled Packaging
To reduce waste, many outer packages and some inner packaging materials are recycled (sometimes branded), but all orders will be packaged snugly with plenty of care.
Free Gift Wrapping
Many singular items are already packaged with tissue paper, pillow box or kraft jewelry box, topped with either a jute cord, yarn or raffia ribbon, ready to be gifted. Please note that some Mystery box large items may not be wrapped. If the item is a gift, please add a note (with recipient's name), and the item can be packaged accordingly with a label.
Curiosity Sourcing
Insects and bones in the curiosity section are ethically and sustainably sourced. Ladybugs and bees are ethically sourced and perished naturally. Exotic insect specimens arrives from farms of third world countries, eco-friendly efforts that provides educational resources, increases insect populations, and boosts local economies/ communities while preventing deforestation. In the wild, butterfly survival rate is only 5%, but with the farms, the survival rate is 95% and the females are released into the wild to make more beauties, continuing to enhance the populations. Bones are sustainably sourced from environmental programs and industry by-products (where otherwise discarded). Animals were not harmed for their bones.
Curiosity Display & Care
Please keep the curiosities in indoor locations and cool spots away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. Prolonged sunlight can fade the colors and heat/humidity can cause moisture to form, damaging your piece and attracting pests.
Jewelry Materials & Care
Materials: Earrings are made from hypo-allergic metals. Majority of the jewelry materials are made of metal alloy, an affordable, but durable material. If you have sensitivities to metals, it is advisable to look elsewhere for your jewelry. Jewelry Care: Please keep in airtight containers, prolonged sunlight and steer away from water. Perspiration and application of scents in combination with skin types can cause minor discoloration.
