The problem with photographing phenomenon gemstones is that it's almost impossible to catch the "flash." You can see some blue flash in one of the moonstones on the first picture!!! Anyway, this piece is made from Grade A Blue Labradorite (grey) and Blue Moonstone (white). In both cases the blue refers to the flash, or chatoyancy, of the gemstone. Sterling silver ear wires support drop earrings. The necklace is 21 - 22.5 inches long, with an oversize lobster claw clasp for ease of use.

Meet the Maker
I am a retired high school math teacher from Buffalo, NY. It was a kit to make stretchy bracelets for kids that started me on my jewelry making odyssey. Now I can't seem to stop!!! I do wish my photography skills were better, and I'm not that great at writing copy, but I'm getting there!!! (And yes, I meant for that picture to be sideways. It says a lot about me!!)
My beaded pieces are made almost exclusively from semi-precious gemstone beads. Because I am a larger person, I tend to make my necklaces longer than usual. Also, I use larger than normal lobster claw clasps to make it easier to use. I believe that everyone benefits when we are inclusive! This bio is a work in progress!! How it’s Made
All Beadolio products are handmade by owner Connie Burns. Most are made with extra-large lobster claw clasps for ease of use. Many are longer than usual to accommodate all sizes!!!
