About this Product
Grandma's RUB is really potent, you only need to use a tiny bit. It is intended to be an underlying flavor not an over flavoring. It works on any type of meat and is perfect for brining a turkey. At home we use it mostly on ribs which we slow cook in the oven and then finish on the grill. That method is when I learned to be very careful with the seasoning. It's also great as a flavoring for Soups and stews. We include several recipes. It's also great on fried chicken.

Meet the Maker
We hand make and sell our Grandma Sandino’s Sicilian Sauce ”Garlic Sauce” and four Herbal Seasoning blends; Herbal Dip and Spread, Garlic Butter Mix, Fish Sprinkle and Grandma’s Rub.
We have been making the Sauce for over thirty years. We made it every year the day after Thanksgiving. We called it Garlic Friday. We handed it out as Christmas gifts to family, friends, neighbors and clients.
The recipients of our gifts would stop by our house and beg for more. They would offer to shovel our walks or mow our lawn. They wanted to buy more from us so they didn’t have to wait until next December. We only made enough each year to supply our own needs and we didn’t have certifications and permits to “sell” it to the public.
In December of 2010, It got ridiculous. Dave and I decided to see what it would take to be able to sell it on the Market. In January of 2011 we started Grandma Sandino’s. We went through the process and sold our first Bottle in June at our first Farmer’s Market. We have evolved a lot since then and Grandma Sandino’s is our fulltime business.
We are passionate about high-quality ingredients. We are very picky about what goes into our products. We use only the finest quality ingredients available. We believe in clean nutritious food. We have probably the cleanest label in the Market place. Because we start with “REAL” food we don’t have to add junk to make it taste good.
Our products are 100% natural. NO gluten, dairy, soy, sodium, MSG, nuts, corn or eggs. It’s Vegan and certified non-GMO. Our Garlic Sauce is for: pasta, salads, brad dipping, marinade for meats and vegetables or to sauté shrimp and stir fry. It literally “Goes On Everything.” Because of the way it’s made and the ingredients we use, our products are not cheap but they are very frugal. As our customers will attest: “ A little goes a long way.”
How it’s Made
We blend the appropriate herbs and then hand label and hand fill all of the packages.
