The possibilities are endless when repurposing wine bottles and this lovely shade of green glass bottle does not disappoint! A very elegant looking bottle alone, I decided to bring it back to life and purpose with white dot art designs at 3 different levels and designs around the entire bottle. Whether a gift for someone else, or a great addition to your home décor, day or night, this lovely slim bottle comes with the fairy lights and they sure do give off a sweet glow.
The fairy lights are removable should you decide to use it for a few fresh cut flowers or greenery. Powering the fairy lights on and off is a cinch with the little on/off switch. Since the fairy lights are a wire strand, you would be able to manipulate how/where the lights sit in the bottle when you use something long enough to reach down in the bottle to move the wiring around.
The dot art designs around the bottle are 100% hand painted - no stencil used - completely freehanded. There is a light coat of sealant over the entire bottle, so when it needs a little cleaning or dusting, using a very soft, slightly damp cloth would be ideal. While this beauty would be grand to use outdoors, it's not recommended it live outside all the time due to the elements that may affect the paint and sealant.
Perfect as a table centerpiece, or on your mantle, it won't take up too much space with an approximate height of 11.75 inches to the top of the bottle, 12.5 inches to the top of the fairy light faux cork, and a diameter of just 3 inches.

Meet the Maker
Greetings! My name is Candis and my wonderful husband and I are the makers of our items in Crafts By Candis. A couple of years ago, I started making crafts with wine bottles. The first one was just a paint it, hang a Christmas sled on it, add a topper and voila - done! Then it progressed into making other kinds of decorative Christmas bottles and then beach themed bottles. In addition to giving new life to empty bottles, we now make our own wooden sleds to adorn the bottles with and laser engraved coasters. Coming soon will be laser engraved wooden clocks and whimsical wooden flip flops.
A little about us ~ For the past few years we have been empty nesters and we currently full time in our RV. We have 2 sons and one grandson! It's minimal living and gives us so much time to visit family, enjoy the outdoors, go golfing, watch lots of sports and make our crafts together. Just recently we became the proud parents of 10 acres of Nature Paradise - raw land! So eventually we will be back in a house that we are building ourselves. Lots of work but it's so rewarding!
I come from a Sales & Marketing background and have dabbled in some different markets - first with hotels, then RV's and lastly self storage properties. I have recently found my dream job (working where my husband works) as an administrative assistant - absolutely love the job, the company and the co-workers, not to mention the additional time I get to spend with the hubs.

How it’s Made
I love to repurpose wine bottles and when I got my hands on this lovely one, I wanted to keep the lovely green glass color visible but still add a little something to it. I used white acrylic paint for the dot art. I never use a template, or a stencil. I just look at the bottle, apply one dot, and the rest just comes to life. To apply the paint, I used different sized "dotting tools", toothpicks, ends of paint brushes and even a nut picker! Once all the paint had completely dried, a light coat of sealant was sprayed over the entire bottle. The final touch was the fairy lights. Untwisted them, placed them in the bottle, and turned them on.
This one was definitely a joy to create!

RETURN POLICY: Please contact us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. For returnable items, they must be returned, at the buyers shipping expense, within 30 days of delivery. Customized and/or personalized items are non-refundable. Exchanges are not available on items.
For items that are broken upon delivery (broken by no fault of the buyer) the buyer may be eligible for a full refund. Photos of the packaging and item(s) will be required within 7 days of delivery.
