About this Product
The unique hand dyed finish and adjustable sizing are the standout features of this strap. The center section of the strap is hand dyed in Green. Our dying process creates many shades of green. The dyes interact with the natural characteristics of the full grain leather, creating a unique effect. The green center is accented with Antique Dark Brown adjustment slots that allow for a completely custom fit & feel. This strap has a great deal of depth in the dye color that is hard for the camera to capture, but there is a lot of wow factor here. Because of our hand dying process and the unique characteristics of each hide, your strap will be as special and unique as you.

True Craftworks
Meet the Maker
I have always had an interest in handcrafts and art since I was a young boy. My father is an artist & former art teacher, so from early on I learned to respect and appreciate arts & crafts and the time and love that goes into the creative process.
Following my passion, I pursued a degree in Fine Arts. Early positions in graphic design cascaded into a career in the game industry.
After stepping away from the industry I moved to refocus on more creative pursuits and get back to working with my hands.
Being a long-time game enthusiast and not being satisfied with all the mass-produced game card cases, I decided to make one for myself. From there I branched out into doing other special projects for my family. My pieces were receiving a lot of positive feedback which gave me the inspiration to start making pieces for others who might enjoy and appreciate them too.
Although the market has changed quite a bit over the last several years with mass produced items masquerading as handmade, I am proud to continue crafting hand made goods at home in my studio for the love and enjoyment of the creative process.
My interests in world religions, spirituality, philosophy, ancient symbology & lore, mythology across all cultures permeate throughout my work and art pieces.
It feels fantastic to use my hands to create objects of lasting beauty and longevity.
The pieces made in my studio are crafted - created with passion. They are true craftworks.
How it’s Made
This Guitar Strap was hand cut from a thick and rugged full grain vegetable tanned leather hide.
The pieces were precision cut, then the leather was specially hand dyed to enhance the natural beauty of the leather with a unique distressed finish, so it has a great vintage look.
Several top coats were applied to add a subtle satin finish that will both enhance the beauty and longevity of your strap.
The segments were all bonded and riveted to ensure lasting strength.
Like the best songs, this guitar strap will just get better with time.
What is Vegetable Tanned Leather?
Vegetable tanning is an organic process to preserve the leather. It uses natural tannins from plant sources, making it more environmentally friendly. It’s a slow process which takes weeks to months to complete. Vegetable-tanned leather has some rigidity to it, which helps the product to retain its shape and integrity. Vegetable-tanned leather will soften and develop a rich patina over time, meaning your item will develop a unique and appealing appearance as it ages, only getting better with time. By contrast, chrome-tanned leather is quickly chemically and more inexpensively tanned. It may present toxins to the environment and manufacturing employees. "Vegan", faux, or PU leather is petroleum-based polyurethane/vinyl.
