About this Product
This roomy stylish purse is made from denim jeans and cottons.
Each of my Bottoms Up Purses is unique, no pattern used, I cut and sew as the denim I’m using allows. I choose a lining from my stash of cottons to coordinate with the design on the denim. They are always lined, always have multiple inside pockets and outside pockets.
This one is lined with green paisley cotton fabric with silk flowers and a feathery green and gold trim. The inside has 3 pockets, outside has 5 pockets. The zipper still works, making a large hidden area between the denim and the lining. The strap is denim also. Large snap closure at center top opening.
Outside dimensions are: 18“ wide, 9 “high, with a 3.5 “ x 18 “ oval bottom.
Opening is 16“ across, straps are 22“, inside pockets are 3.5" x 4“ and 6" x 4 “ on one side and 9" x 4.5" on the other side.
Care: Machine wash inside out to protect flowers, medium heat dry. All fabrics are prewashed.

Hello! I'm Denise, welcome to the crafty corner of my world where I create unique items to share with the rest of the world. I love to upcycle, and love a challenge to create a custom piece. My goal is to be able to do what I love full time, which I'm working toward little by little :)
How it’s Made
I start with the denim, I hand trim to determine what size and shape the purse will be.
Then I pick out some embellishments to fit the size of the purse.
Next, I go to my stash of fabric and find one that coordinates with the embellishments.
Then I get creative! I start placing embellishments in various positions until it comes together as a unique design. I sew it all together, being mindful that it will be used and washed several times so it has to be sturdy.
The final product is a one of a kind piece!
