How it’s Made
I painted this piece with watercolor and acrylic paints that I infused with microplastics.
The microplastics come from some of my other projects where I have to sand down resin (which is a form of plastic) by hand in order to complete the piece. The dust that is created from the sanding process is then collected and stored until I need to mix more paint... this actually happens quite often!
I want to do everything I can to help preserve this planet we call home.
