Meet the Maker
In 2020 as the world got dumped onto its head and my salon was closed for 6 weeks I needed something to do. I started making Pour Paint jewelry. This was something I had seen done as a great way to use up any extra paint leftover from a painting. How fun! I really enjoy making these pieces and I don’t know why it’s easier to part with but it is. I am thrilled to give you a way to wear art every day. Each piece is like a miniature painting and one of a kind. I hope you enjoy wearing it as much as I enjoyed making it!
How it’s Made
These are fun to do! I take the glass cabachon and dip it into freshly poured paint. Sometimes, I take run off from one of my paintings that I created or I will just pour on my table and create special pieces from there. Once cured I either set into an alloy setting or I will seal the back and glue on a bail for a "trayless" look.
